The Lodge
With more than 10, 290 square feet of meeting, dining and relaxing space, Dorchester Hunting Preserve is a great choice for your next business meeting or event.

For Business meetings, there's a comfortable conference room with a table seating up to eight. The room can be set up in classroom style, to accommodate 25-30 attendees. Audio visual equipment and wireless internet connections are all available. For larger groups, our dining room easily accommodates 40 guests. 

And after the meeting, there's plenty of space to gather on the large, screened porch around the fireplace, or outside on benches and rocking chairs around a custom-built fire-pit area. 

 Accommodations
Spending the night at Dorchester couldn't be more comfortable.   The newly constructed cabins are spacious and upscale rustic.   Each cabin is complete with:

• 3 bedrooms 
• One bathroom for each bedroom
• Each bedroom is available for rent at $150 per night.
• 2,177 Square Feet
• Screened back porch, full kitchen.  Large front porch for relaxing.

Southern Cooking 
Lunch is an event itself at Dorchester, with two meats and three vegetables.  Visitors enjoy Southern specialties like fried chicken, stew beef or meatloaf with delectable vegetables like our squash casserole stir-fried cabbage and cauliflower.   Homemade biscuits and desserts like banana pudding, apple cobble, and homemade pound cake with ice cream are our specialties.  Evening meals range from thick steaks cooked on the grill and a chicken barbeque, to a traditional low country boil or oyster roast.   No matter what the meal is at Dorchester, you can be sure it's all made here at the lodge, homemade and fresh.
